Yeah, I'm going to go for it. I talked to an editor friend of mine at Wired. They got their hands on some a couple of weeks before Amazon announced it and he said it's cool. Really cool. In any case, how bad can it be? The ability to store a library's worth of books -- seriously, especially when you start plugging in flash cards -- is awesome.
PaulI found it also holds audio books and you can get major newspapers published to it daily. It seriously sounds like a bookstore in a PDA. My wife will hate it for the nuclear damage it'll do to our bank account, but c'est la vie. The boy got to read.
