I was looking for an inexpensive but nice mini-dv camcorder and this is what I found. Canon has a couple of other models with added features but this base model was perfect for me. I was wanting mini-dv and firewire for easy import of video to my computer. Video quality is pretty decent. If I had a chance to do over again, I probably would have gotten the ZR850 instead due to the megapixel image sensor for video. I do not regret this purchase though. It fires up quick for those moments when my son is doing something cute.

I recently bought this router to replace my old router that finally kaput. The setup was quick and painless. I immediately flashed the 3rd part firmware from dd-wrt.com. That really opened up a lot more options such as the ability to overclock the processor of the router and adjust the transmission power of the wireless radio. There are many hacks that can be done to this line of routers such as adding an SD card for logs/scripts/etc. I may try that in the future but my soldering skills suck. So far it has been rock solid

I purchased a couple of these for me and my wife. We both love them. She likes it because it's easy to clip anywhere while she's excercising and I like it because of the audio quality. It's like I got a brand new pair of headphones! I'm using the same in-ear Sony headphones I had before and the bass response is so much deeper and the trebles are crystal clear. One other thing is the built in battery, it charges via the usb cable. We can use the car charger we have for our cell phones (Motorola V3) to charge the mp3 player.

I'm looking to get this to match up with my recent purchase of the Linksys WRT54GL wireless router. I'll save a few bucks a month not having to rent a modem from my ISP plus it'll stack nice and neat on top of the router.
