Spore is a SIM game coming out soon. I usually go for Real – Time – Strategy (RTS) games like Rome: Total War, but this time I think I'll go for a SIM. SPORE is about growing up as a single cell organism and evolving. Then once you evolve you evolve again, and again, and again until you become an intelligent being. Once you are an intelligent being, the game keeps going until your civilization builds a spaceship and travels the universe.

The game play itself sounds neat and all but not incredibly compelling until the game play introduces you to some nice creature and city design options and then the never ending story line! The game doesn't have to actually end! You can go on to spread civilization (by niceness or destruction) or just explore. The world is so big you can explorer it for a long time. Also the world is populated by both the game animals, your animals and any animal others create with the game and they get exported to your world! (via the internet, I think. Kool, huh?). So in the end what you have is an animal that you created in great detail and launched into a space age civilization that competes with the creation of other players of the game! I'm looking forward to this one coming out.
